I know it's early for thinking of VP picks.

I've suggested Cynthia McKinney and someone else recommended Barbara Lee but then I thought who is one of the most brilliant shining lights out there like Bernie? Who represents the working peoples interest in the city of Seattle?
I know it's unprecedented but what about Kshama Sawant? I know it's only the Seattle City Council but if not VP why not hire her to be one of the members of his administration?

but always the first consideration in the VP is one who is capable of being one heart beat from the Presidency. That may even suggest a, gasp, establishment politician...maybe not. Perhaps someone a bit more toward Center than he is. But quality before ideology is where I weigh in.

I have such a shine on for her I forgot. I'm trying to think of a young dynamo that matches where Bernie stands and of course has Bernie's energy! ^_^

I admit I wasn't thrilled about her stance on GLBT rights earlier but reading the article she has the possibility of being a good VP candidate for Bernie.
I would also be thrilled to see two NON-Christians in the White House, to break up the Christian Hegemony that has dominated it for over a century.

A special election would be held in Massachusetts to fill the vacant Senate seat -- no worries about the GOP governor.
