BUT MOST WILL NOT CAUCUS: Reddit poster's son

-snip-
So he called me last night after he had finished for the day. He was heading to a home where people had offered Bernie staffers a place to stay.
The most interesting to me: They only canvas Democratic voters and Sam said that "easily" 60 to 70% say they support Bernie. BUT MOST WILL NOT CAUCUS, too much trouble. Said it makes him want to pull his hair out.

Bumper stickers. Bernie leads the pack. Then Ben Carson, said they look as if they have been on for a long time. Then Cruz. Zero for Hillary or Trump.

I asked if the locals spoke about the caucus when he (Sam) went shopping, grabbed a coffee, got gas, etc. Nope.

I asked if he had seen many Clinton volunteers. None. Saw some Clinton material attached to one door.

The old guy who is volunteering there is a real veteran of political campaigns. He's around my age, pushing 70. That guy says this is the most organized campaign he's seen since John Edwards was in Iowa.

Sam will be helping to set up for four events scheduled for today.

I'll keep posting these updates through the caucus date if you guys want.

Canvassers need to drive home the message that if they support Bernie then they need to caucus because if he loses it will likely be due to low voter turnout.
