M$M is getting weirder and weirder, as Iowa approaches.

This morning on MSNBC there's been a string of Hillary "campaign strategists" and surrogates
appearing to "comment" on last night's forum and to denigrate Bernie and his chances
of winning. All lobbed softball questions to fluff-up Hillary as "the experienced inevitable
candidate" in the Primary.

NO Bernie staff or supporters at all, to counter any of it, just Hillary people pilling-on
with their anti-Bernie tripe. .. or at least none that I've seen yet today.

It's weird when shit like this happens because .. well if I notice stuff like this and then
SAY anything about it, point out the imbalance, I get all the "CT" "oh you Bernie people
always the victim" crap; and so I'm damned if I do notice and comment, and I'm damned
if I don't, because I'm basically rolling-over and playing dead and ceding to complete
bullshit and bias that's masquerading as 'balanced journalism".

Clearly the "fix" is in, and all the PTB's long knives are out to get Bernie today.. and likely
will stay that way the rest of the week. Maybe I need to just turn it all off, and focus
instead on social media, where there's still two sides being represented, because it feels
like pissing into the wind to try to email CNN and MSNBC to point out their blatant bias.

It's not like they don't know what they are doing. Any thoughts?

They tried ignoring him, still he rose.
The tried mocking him, he kept rising.
Now they are slinging everything they have at him in order to keep the status quo....

He will continue to rise. I believe Bernie will crush the competition in the first two primary contests, and the momentum will then be unstoppable. He will continue on to victory!

The people on this website who just openly mock us and call us crazy are the same ones who start saying that the media is against Hilary and there's a conspiracy against her, when the tables turn on them. It's laughable as hell.

They're hypocrites to put it shortly. That said, ALWAYS keep your eyes open as you are, always point out the bullshit.

Yes, it's a fact that the media is going to be hammering on Bernie everyday coming up to the caucus. But once people choose Bernie, they don't turn back. Keep up the good work.

It's great to hear how others are coping, and keeping spirits up.

I know that the better Bernie does, the more this will amp up; so in a contrary sort of way,
it's "a good sign" I suppose.

thanks again my friend. peace to you.

Which is why I quit taking certain posters here on DU seriously.

That claim of having once supported him or were on the fence, but "his supporters" made me change my mind, is sheer crap.

I supported Hillary Clinton, during all that vast rightwing conspiracy period. "Her" behavior during the primaries in 2007 and 2008 made me change my mind.

"your bad behavior made me hate your candidate"

that's not even a logical thought. the supporters have nothing to do with the candidate.

besides, we hate the trump because of his actions, not his supporters right?

I will add this to my thinking on candidate supporters:

Just as Hillary supporters don't give a damn whether I can climb out of my state of poverty...
I no longer give two shits if they fall from their position of wealth.

we're freaky, crazy, totally in caucus mode right now. So, everyone is attending candidate rallies and fully engaged. Most people I know attend multiple rallies. Iowans, at this point, are relying on campaign events and too busy to pay attention to the talking heads.

Remember, most caucus attendees are very politically astute. They are not swayed by bullshit.

Right now, they've got the candidates in their backyards. So, they'll be listening to them give speeches or asking them questions at coffee shops and at high schools. Both Bernie and Clinton each have 20 separate events this week.

Why listen to a bunch of hand wringers on TV when you can walk up to Bernie and say, "I was wondering if you could tell me about your health care plan?"

I've talked to every candidate that I ended up caucusing for. I had the pleasure of speaking with Obama on the phone for 10 minutes--until his phone died. He did call me back though.

It's nuts here!

So...please know most of that stuff won't sway the Iowa caucuses.

I was hoping to hear more from you about the ground-game in Iowa, and what better place than here,
when I needed to be reminded that Iowans "are not swayed by bullshit." ... I love that you're there
and doing all you're doing.

Hat's off to you and all our fellow Bernistas there;

And thank you so much for lifting my spirits today.

the less m$m you expose yourself too, the better you feel. bernie has tons of support, which is why they are spending every breath trying to convince you he doesn't

are information wise, and why social media and Thom Hartman, Democracy Now, et.
al. are more important than ever.
