"Only three presidents, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson, have been unaffiliated with a specific religious tradition, according to the Pew Research Center for Religion and Public Life. "

Clearly voters should be wary of any candidate who finds themselves in the same company as Jefferson and Lincoln on any issue...

Most politicians use religion in such a fake, hypocritical, smarmy way, to divide people. Bernie uses his views to unite everyone.

Every time he gets pressed with stupid or meaningless questions - and demanding a Presidential candidate pay lip service to some undefined concept of a Deity without any intellectual exploration of what that even means, is absolutely stupid- they just give him more opportunity to explain shit brilliantly like that.

On that score, Bernie gets high marks. "As you do it to the least of these, you do it unto me." He's a lot closer to Christ's teaching than the religious Taliban that support the Repubs and the Pharisees that support Hillary.
