Little side note - ran into next door neighbor at the convenience store, an hour ago.
He is just home from eight weeks of radiation treatments for prostate cancer. Doing great! I was telling him about how my grandson is without insurance (an ACA marketplace policy starts next week) and how his doctor prescribed risperidone yesterday. Publix price, 60 .5 mg tabs, was $186.95, no insurance. Costco price? $14.75, no insurance, plus the pharmacist cheerily said we could get 180 tabs (3 month supply) for $22. I said we need single payer, please vote for Bernie. He said that if the GE is Hillary/Trump, he will vote for Trump, but he hopes Bernie is the candidate, he would vote for Bernie no question.

I do not care about "Obama's legacy". That is, IMO, ridiculous, and no reason to vote for someone. And anyone who rants that we MUST keep the ACA because it is Obama's legacy, knowing that millions are still uninsured, and the insurance companies will just keep gouging us, is, IMO, an unfeeling asshole.

In particular if the TPP goes through...his "legacy" will be in the crapper for me.

and the meds racket. I've checked DK's site occasionally for about 8 months now, and a couple years ago. And I've never officially subscribed yet from time to time receive their emails about issues- not pests about it so it's ok.
Never before have I got a campaign solicitation through them, this one on Obama's presidency. It seems a bit desperate to tag onto him esp. now.
The ACA must replaced with single-payer, premiums and meds are skyrocketing, and many are uninsured, receiving no care and dying as we know.

to the pharmacy. If you do have a membership, there is a tiny discount, but Costco has, LITERALLY, been a lifesaver for us, over the years. And you can call them for price quotes.
