1. Two tragedies here.

First that so many desperate people need immediate action to save them and their children.
Second, only one candidate bothered to put him/herself in direct contact with desperate people who need immediate action.

I have rarely seen Bernie Sanders look so saddened as when he listened to their questions. So many people with decades of pain just wanting to be heard. And Bernie without an answer that would satisfy so much pain.
If he had had the power to instantly grant their wishes, we would all wonder why no one had done so before.
How would the other candidates fair put in the same situation? I'm sure none of them would dare to enter that room alone.
