Seeger was not a socialist. He may have hung around with them, but I lived with the family for a month. Pete believed in capitalism all the way! He may have believed in some socialist ideas, but he surely was a capitalist.

It's not that hard to understand and the problem for the Old Cold Warriors is that today's generation has no clue what they are talking about.

They like the idea of SS.

They like the idea of economic equality for all Americans.

And they most definitely like the idea of access to higher education for those who need it.

Just check out the polls.

I believe we may finally moving away from the old McCarthy era and a new generation of Americans view things in an entirely different way.

Bernie has come forward at this pivotal time in our history offering an opportunity to move into the future rather than wallow in the past.

I for one, intend to take that opportunity.
