Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumMarch 1 is Super Tuesday. It is also St. David's Day
It is also St. David's Day celebrating the patron saint of Wales. Wales has always been the underdog compared to its larger more powerful neighbor England. St. David, like Bernie Sanders believed in peace and believed in "doing the little things in life" like caring for the downtrodden.
Let's all celebrate the patron saint of Wales by caucusing/primarying for Bernie!

I watch S4C a lot on my laptop. They just allowed quite a few programs to be streamed worldwide.

(24,931 posts)But I need to correct your Welsh there. It's "Cwm Rhonnda" (Rhondda Valley) not "Cwn Rhondda" (Dogs of Rhondda)

I love that hymn, very stirring.

(24,931 posts)We have hymn sings annually here in Minnesota and there have been a few times that same typo has shown up on the program. Most of the people don't speak Welsh well enough to notice, but a few of us snicker at the "Dogs of Rhondda"
I love that hymn, too. I love singing it more in Welsh than in English, but it is great in either language.
