Minor question

After Bernie has been elected President will he automatically
become the head of the Democratic Party?

Considering who runs it right now that would seem weird.

1. The president appoints the chair of the DNC -

Obama appointed Wasserman in 2011. So, if Bernie were president he could appoint who he wants.

3. Not exactly appoints, but basically.

The DNC Chair is elected by the DNC.

If a Democrat is President and tells them whom to elect, that person gets elected.

If Bernie were elected as the Democratic nominee, I think enough DNC members would follow tradition and dutifully fall in line behind whomever he told them to choose.
