I am tired of people conflating Sanders with Trump

I am tired of the media and other people conflating Bernie Sanders with Donald Trump. It is ridiculous and it is dishonest, they are nothing alike. On a blog I frequent there was a post saying that Sanders and Trump were the same. There was a poster who said all of Sanders supporters were angry white people like Trump. the poster went on to say that he thought that about Sanders due to his rallies when that is completely untrue. I had a the great fortune of seem a Sander's Rally today, and it was very positive.

When I said that Bernie Sanders supports immigration reform and Trump wants to build a wall, I got a reply about Bernie's opposition to the flawed bill in 2007. What hurts the most is that it is an African American blog that I have been visiting for years.

6. it's a shitty little anti-liberal blog cooked up by a former DU'er.

Spends all its time ranting about the left and liberals and offering live animal sacrifices to President Obama and Hillary Clinton. I'm on the fence as to whether it's an example of a person with honest-to-goodness health issues, or an honest-to-goodness example of what Fascist rhetoric would sound like coming from our party.

Kinda up there with immasmartypants, though that chucklehead looks reasonable and well-thought compared to TPV.

People use this conflation trick a lot and it's usually meaningless. Problem is it sometimes works.
