I didn't realize it was Bernie's fault that the number of Democrat voters is down from 2008...

until a Hillary supporter explained it. Hillary herself couldn't possibly be the reason.

"Actually, Democrats were hoping that the fire Sanders was sending out would've pushed more Democrats to vote, but the numbers are down from 2008, which is another sign Bernie isn't getting the job done..."

Tell you what I think, though - if the nominee is Hillary, they are just not going to turn out for her.
All the exasperated and scornful "say hello to President Trump" bromides won't faze them - they want change.

Or some get bamboozled by an ex president and the candidate herself are at the polling place. Cheating will get no votes from me. If the law can't do anything, we can by holding back. These people cheat, so those who support Bernie better think twice if you're ready to let that go. They stole YOUR election. How many couldn't vote waiting for Bill to clear out? How can they get away with soliciting. It's going to happen again. Is that fair? Are we just going to fold because Trump is worse? How many votes do we lose when the Clinton's go to polling places? Is it fair to have to wait for the circus while in line?

I think we all misunderstood her is all. We made the false assumption she was a Democrat based solely on her membership in the party.
I hold she is the greatest republican sleeper agent of all time. She openly supports republican policies: and we still think she is a Democrat. She openly supports republican candidates over Democratic ones at the state level; and we still think she is a Democrat. She openly sabotages the Democrat's main publicity event during the Primaries (the debate cycle); and we still think she is a Democrat. She openly supports the most predatory branch of the very predatory financial industry, the short term lending/entrapment tapeworms; and we still claim she is a Democrat.
I suspect if a picture of her in a thong bikini bottom were to appear, with Ronny Reagan's face tattooed one one butt check smiling at the tattoo of George W on the other; we would still think she was a Democrat.

She has done more damage to the Democratic Party's national influence then anything an openly republican attack could ever do. The finest most eloquent divisive partisan statesmanship from republican superstars could not have done half of the damage she has caused.

She is a wonder, we just failed to understand.

and means total corruption of the party. That's major but not too huge to reckon with and terminate. But if the party doesn't correct soon it means intent and time for more to move on. No regrets, it is what it is.

Interesting that Hill supporters apparently don't expect their own candidate to be exciting. Weird.

Never mind that the party has done everything possible to suppress his voters.

Hillary just doesn't excite the base. The base that is rapidly abandoning the party.

Blank stare. Curled lip. Some choice non complimentary adjectives. My experience.

Some of that is the media coverage of Sanders. It's hard to get people worked up about an election if the news does not cover that election before the evening of the vote.
