After reading Simon Head's "The Clinton System" in NYR Daily I don't see how I could ever vote for her. I only hope that hundreds of thousands read the article and that it gets national and international coverage. I can't express my disgust after reading about the extent of the corruption.
How can so many at DU continue to support her - have they no regard for the truth? Is their moral compass completely broken or did they never have one? I fear the Democratic party may be on its last leg. Here's hoping and praying Bernie is the nominee, for the sake of the country, for our future.

(2,125 posts)And I love how my Democratic Party bona fides are called into question for not supporting someone who is opposed to everything the Democratic Party used to espouse. Back in the 70's I was considered a mainstream Dem. Now I'm branded as a leftist fringe Democrat because I believe Hillary Clinton is too cozy with Wall St., the MIC and Prison Industrial Complex, supports the DP and is too hawkish. The article you referenced received no HRC supporters' comments in GD-P despite having 100+ replies and recs because the revelations are stunning in scope. I'm supposed to vote for that?
What gives?

(1,192 posts)Bernie's our last shot at the sham of an electoral system we have.
There will be a mass exodus from the party if she gets the nomination. Bernie, on the other hand, will revive the party on the verge of extinction.
I know I'm going green if she gets the nom. Many progressive millennials will. There is no hope left for the party that stands with repugs and loan sharks.

Wonder how long it lasts here?

JURY RESULTS
A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Fri Mar 18, 2016, 09:27 PM, and voted 4-3 to HIDE IT.
Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Grow up.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: It's a bit of hyperbole, but not hide-worthy. Leave it.
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Doesn't belong on DU. This is the poster who wrote in a thread about a Democratic majority being better than a Republican one, that "second degree murder is better than first degree murder -unless you're the victim".
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: A little over the top.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: So sick of this shit...
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: I agree with the alert
Juror # 3 Appears to have me confused with someone else. I'm not an attorney and I don't recall ever posting about murder. Probably someone else with a Marx picture. Some people are easily confused.

(11,862 posts)It is absolutely true! 1st degree can get you the death penalty...2nd degree cannot!
So he/she (the writer of that) is saying...Republicans are worse than Democrats...unless you are among the 'lesser class' (victims..both dead in any event)
I am sorry, I agree with that premise.
