Officially the largest caucus in US history! Filled up the convention center, overflowed into the Century Link Arena, and STILL had people outside 5 hours later. So awesome!!

(602 posts)He packed up his family and moved them from "commie California" to Idaho, only to discover many of the neighbors in his upper-middle-class enclave are liberal. Although he says most are Clinton supporters, they're still far from the Ted Cruz fans he was hoping for. Anyway, I guess in an attempt to calm his anxieties -- he has mild OCD/TS, so he has a lot of self-soothing strategies -- this morning he emailed me severals times, each with a photo of the Belgium bombings and the subject, "Look what your friends just did." I finally emailed him back the above photo and said, "Look what my other friends just did." Haven't heard back. He's probably too busy touching all doorknobs in his house.
NB: My apologies to anyone here with OCD. I'm making fun of my brother, not the condition. Everyone in our family has some degree of it, so we've had to learn to laugh about it.

(1 post)Why does it even matter. The democratic establishment is going to shove lying Hillary down your throats no matter what the people think. She getting her dues from the last election.

(16,926 posts)When you consider most had to stand in a mile-long line in 44 degree temps with gusty winds, that shows determination.
After the 2008 caucus here, I could swear that party officials swore off the 'Super Caucus' concept, but apparently not. There has got to be a better way, although after the mess in Arizona, I am not at all sure that a regular primary election is the answer. Too much low hanging fruit for those with the power to screw with the vote.
