Awwwww, Pooor laaaddddyyyy

A top aide to Hillary Clinton's campaign on Monday dodged questions about setting up a debate with Bernie Sanders in New York, saying it depends on the senator's "tone."

"This is a man who said he'd never run a negative ad ever. He's now running them. They're planning to run more," Joel Benenson, Clinton's chief strategist, said on CNN. "Let's see the tone of the campaign he wants to run before we get to any other questions."

After winning a trio of states over the weekend, Sanders on Sunday called for a debate in New York ahead of that state's April 19 primary. The Vermont senator is looking to cut into Clinton's delegate lead and says he has the "momentum" heading into the latter half of the race.

To paraphrase the Hillbots 'what's she gonna do when she faces Trump'? Not a winning strategy.

When Clinton said that she is a progressive who gets things done, she meant that she puts on her white smock with the word "Progressive" on it, and gets done the business of selling insurance, while wearing bright red lipstick.

He will turn to her and then say, "I gave money to both your campaign for Senate & the Clinton Foundation, in order to get the following favors, which you did. I personally know you do favors for rich donors, so please tell America what you promised to do for Wall Street and Pharma firms..." It will be at that moment she loses the GE.

I hope I am wrong l, but Trump already hinted at this during a debate and in speeches. If he does is, it would be devastating for the Hillary campaign.

What I said above would validate many of the RW attacks on her. What the Hillary camp and supporters don't realize is that while most of the RW attacks on Hillary are false or trumped up (pun intended), that doesn't mean that most of the non-democrat voters don't believe most of it. If you follow politics closely, as most of us here at DU do, you don't believe most of the hype. That doesn't mean that the average person realizes that. And that is a serious problem that no one acknowledges.

I assumed they were coming from loons. But I have observed Hillary for years, and I know that she is a liar and an incompetent and corrupt. Maybe that meshes with rightwing attacks. I have no idea and it's irrelevant. The point is she should never be President for all those reasons, and we have someone whom a friend of mine calls "a good honest man" running against her, and I think we still have a chance to win.

Bernie up through the general is my plan and how I'm voting.

I don't know what was agreed upon the parties, but this is a huge problem for the Clintons. Because, he could also get Saudis, east Africans, amongst others to admit their deals too. Hillary really is screwed especially given Erik Prince's actions.

1. He decides he's made enough money on Tshirts, hats and buttons so he pulls a Palin and quits either flat out or just doesn't challenge H much OR
2. He really tries to win then adopts all the staff that Bill recommends and runs gov just as H would have to benefit all Clinton Foundation clients. (Or perhaps it will go to highest bidder and T lets ALEC or Kochs in)

Serving their clients comes first - that's what all the pay-to-play money is for.

... whatever the focus groups tell her wins support. She rated high with being strong against the bully GOP, it rated lower for her to try to be strong on the most polite man in national politics, so being strong against him would be bullying, so she attacks Sanders strengths (the Rovian strategy) and says he is being too harsh against her.

In calling him a negative campaigner with a bad tone, they're trying to make him look bad.

This is, in effect, negative campaigning on the part of the Clinton campaign.

She, and all her minions as well as her surrogates on message boards are all, all of them, bad people. Yes, this is what I believe to be true.
