I'm done (for now)

For quite some time, my frustration level has increased, to the point where I can no longer take it. Since the primaries started, there has been

a). Voter restriction and corruption. New York was the worse to date.
b). MSM ignorance in not covering Bernie. MSM one sided opinions.
c). Vitriol from the HRC camp against Bernie.
d). A difference in rules for voting, state to state.
e). All "Establishment" party candidates are bought by the 1%, and supported by MSM. The whole system is corrupt.

I'm done with this shit. Why aren't all rules for voting the same for each state. Why not do all states in 1 day? 1 vote, 1 person. Super delegates? Are you kidding me? It's a way to support a corrupt system. And how does one vote(super) months prior to the primary starting? MSM ignorance of Sanders? Where do I start? It's corrupt too. With all this corrupt money flying around, don't you think rigging the November election, might be possible? Especially since it's been proven over and over on how to fix an election. I would say the chances are high that this will happen. Yes, money can buy power and votes.

I have been a democrat for all 60 years of my life. I have voted democrat every time. 6 months ago I told myself if Bernie did not make it as our nominee, then I would vote for HRC. I do realize how important it is that the democrats win.

But guess what. I am NOT going to vote if Bernie doesn't make it. Yes, I am going to join millions of people that will not vote for HRC, just for the so called betterment of our party. Look at the party. It's disappearing as fast as the GOP. Is this the true democracy we really want? Internal and external corruption? Same old establishment rules? If so, I want no part of it. I'm sorry, but I would like to see a country with tuition free colleges, healthcare for all, and a living wage for all, and a future that everyone can look forward to. There is only 1 candidate for my money, and that's Bernie.

I don't see this as a bad thing either. If Trump gets in, so be it. Let him fuck around for 4 years. He won't get shit done, and the division will just increase. What Bernie has done has been phenomenal. Someone has finally figured this out what this country really needs to progress and become more democratic. The issue is that the establishment is now on call to perform. If they do not perform in the next 4 years, this revolution will get stronger and stronger. I am very thankful that Bernie entered this race, in a big way. He has pushed HRC much further left than she ever wanted to go. So it's not a total loss if HRC wins.

Either way, I feel strongly that a third party finally has a chance at surviving in this country. If Bernie loses, this revolution and message will ring even louder and clearer in 4 years.

Don't get me wrong, I'm Bernie 110%.

But a deck this large, with corruption stacked against you at ever corner, is not fair politics.

To be honest I felt a great sense of relief when I found a Plan B in all of this, should she get the nom. I feel as though my intelligence is being insulted every time I try to delve into the policy and personality. Then Hill and Bill take it to that next level and personally insult me and people like me. People who have been alive only since Reagan or G H.W. and have seen nothing but the corporatization of this great country, and people even younger than that, who have literally no chance at having the degree of comfort even I enjoy what with a full time job with benefits and a mortgage that pretty much takes half of our household pay (and I consider myself a lucky one).

I wish I could help others understand our desperation without being told that we are indeed the ones missing the point. Trump says some insightful things, maybe one for every fifteen cases of verbal diarrhea he has, and it is always authentic. He wants to do or that and he will tell you. Others with a friendlier face will tell you they get your issues, and "be with" you, all while selling you down a river you will be drowning in for decades. Thanks for your reflection.

"Hope and Change" was the real eye opener for me. In 2009 both houses of Congress and the Presidency were Democrat. What did Obama do? He wasted time "reaching across the aisle" trying to find consensus with the Republicans instead of aggressively pushing a liberal agenda. I've come to the conclusion he had no interest in pushing a liberal agenda from the start-it was all pretend theater for the gullible public. Bernie has exposed the phoniness of today's Democrats-we're supposed to pretend Hillary is Joan of Arc and Trump is Darth Vader-go team!

This is a lot of what is turning people off of Bernie. In particular I have heard POC state 1) disappointment in Obama precisely because they envisioned more measurable improvement in their daily lives and 2) in general politicians can't be trusted but those with big dreams should very much be treated with caution.

I thought BLM would make an endorsement given that Bernie stood by while they talked and Hill got them kicked the heck out. But I am starting to get it now. A whole nation jumped neck deep into the ocean of hope and change and basically we got a barrel full of not-Bush. Sorry to those I offend with these statements. It is what it is as I see it and it's not entirely pleasant.

Otherwise, we'll never get our Bernie/progressive President to help us change this country.

Paper Ballots.
Same Day voter registration.
Open Primaries.
End to SuperDelegates.

We need to make some noise and let the Democratic Party and our government know that we want a more open, fair, transparent, and democratic government.

No disenfranchisement allowed.

This is VITALLY important. We must do this first before we'll have a chance of changing course in this country. We all should know this by now.

They were only 29% of voters before this primary. Their corruption, thanks to Bernie, has been exposed, so I see a HUGE exodus from the party after this is all said and done....me INCLUDED. No political party can survive with such low support. If they retain 25% support, I would be surprised.

The new Party that will form is going to dwarf BOTH the REPUB and so-called DEMOCRATIC parties. The tide has turned and their days are numbered.

Yeah, I don't get it. If it is truly exposed and corrupt, then why are people voting for it? And actually winning.

15. Well,
Fri Apr 22, 2016, 09:23 AM

because they aren't actually winning! They're CHEATING AND STEALING elections...state by state. Voter suppression, election fraud, flipping voter registrations and purging voters from the rolls. THAT is how they've won.

Look at the caucuses Bernie has won...except the fixed Iowa caucus, he's won them ALL by 70%-80% because the DNC cannot manipulate them like they do in CLOSED primaries.

Now everyone knows they're just as corrupt as the Repub party.

Clinton cannot win without CHEATING...just like Republicans.

And would add that Hillary would be the bridge to Chelsea as the successor to the family political dynasty. I can see that one coming a mile away, starting with Kristen Gillibrand getting appointed to a position in the Hillary administration to clear the NY Senate seat for Chelsea in 2018.

If Hillary is the nominee, she needs to lose in a humiliating fashion to get the Clintons purged from the Democratic Party.
