Look at 4 years ago. Paul supporters did not turn around and support Romney. The feeling of being disenfranchised by the establiahment transcends party boundries even if there is strong ideological disagreement among individuals.

There is no trust in the establishment

They are not scared to sit this one out

You can’t make them do anything

And Hillary thinks that, not only will they support her GOP values, like war and fracking and the TPP and crushing student debt, but that they will actually give her money.

I cannot see anything ending well if Hillary gets the nomination. Well, the Clintons always manage to surface, swimming in a sea of money, but nothing good for the rest of us.

Especially because they are aware that every developed country in the World already has!, but according to Hillary, Americans must settle for Far Less than the rest of the developed World takes for granted.

Many of them will take a seat on the bench. But let’s be clear: they are not done with the political struggle, they are just through with the candidates who are left. President Trump does not scare them more that President Hillary does, some believe he may be the catalyst to usher in ‘The Revolution.’ So you can’t use fear and guilt them into your plans.

Interesting article.

how my kids and their friends feel. Thankfully they have the notion that voting for the lesser of the two evils is not necessary nor a way to make a change happen.

There are a lot of us who are way beyond the millennial age group who feel the same. We have been out voted for years as our age group chose to go with "whatever" just so they did not have to stop their upward movement in society.

I still blame Reagan for all that betrayal from the boomers. For a while there I felt like I had been sucked into a vacuum or something as I watched my former pals in consciousness raising go for all the toys. Reagan and the seeming need of people to always have more.

Go millennials, help us get back to trying to make this country a place where all people can at least expect to be able to feed their children.

Thanks for this article.

It stated quite plainly how I and almost every Bernie supporter I know feels.

So, to those who think Sen. Elizabeth Warren can somehow come to this group and say, “We know the system is rigged, but join us cause it ain’t rigged as bad”, or that Senator Bernie Sanders can say, “Hillary is a progressive and will champion our cause”, they are not buying that. They are not drinking the Kool-Aid. Some will support Hillary, others will vote Green Party, write in Bernie Sanders, or vote Trump. But know this: They will tell you in a New York minute that if you believe that somehow, someway, you’re going make them vote for Hillary, with the emphasis on make, they will reply, “You can kiss my……..” I’ll let you fill in the blank.

Now we have a problem where both parties are corrupt as we are finding out this year. We listened to the party about Bill and his problems and we believed them when we were told it was just "a vast rightwing conspiracy". Probably so but that conspiracy made us take our eyes of the the crimes and ignore them because they came from the right".

If Bernie wins, I hope that we never take our eyes off of him. I hope we hold him accountable for anything that happens. That is where the U.S. went wrong. We did not hold our own to the same accountability as we held the opposing people to.

Something's changed now. The young people are not so blind. I do not worship Bernie and neither do they. They appreciate the ideas, the issues. Bernie was right, he is running an issue campaign, hammering his ideas day in and out, like a "broken record." He refrained from quick attacks on Hillary, he did not even make a big deal out of the email server. I think it is a BFD. Young people would follow anybody with these ideas, not just Bernie. He is just a messenger, not the Messiah. There is a future for Bernie fans that does not end in this election. I hope, if he does not win, that he would be instrumental in creating a new party, but I am afraid he wants to reform the party from the inside. I think it is futile, unless of course, he becomes the party leader, which can only happen if he is elected.

An interesting way to tell people how much they matter.

I suppose the psychology behind this is that if they can get you to spend that amount of money, it must be a quality product you are investing in...or something?

I wonder how that will work out for them.

telling them to KISS MY ARSE!

I'm done with the corruption. Now we know, without a shadow of a doubt, the "Democratic" party is just as corrupt as the Repub party. There's no difference between them anymore. Their dog and pony show has been exposed. The CHARADE is over.

I'm leaving the party if Clinton is allowed to steal this election.

Most of the party loyalist have jobs, have health insurance, have transportation, have a place to live, have families. How can they really understand what it means to those who don't have those things, when they say, "be patient, wait; small change is better than no change"? Small change is no change! The status quo can no longer be tolerated; people are suffering!

Bernie supporters tend to be independent thinkers. I'm inclined to write in Bernie in the General if he's not the nominee. Not saying I will but I might, especially since, in the reddest of red states, my vote is purely symbolic anyway. My sister would be horrified.

We do have to read this because it crystallizes articulately what millions of us Bernie supporters feel. WE ARE A NEW PARTY composed of people of all voting age. The millenials are out in front because they have the stamina, passion and technology going for them. They're present and loud, and I love them for it. I'm looking forward to voting for Bernie twice in California. It's the least I can do.
