(19,326 posts)she did an awesome piece on how Bernie's campaign keeps having to bigger their
venues exponentially as they are swamped by an avalanche of RSVPs over-night.

(15,480 posts)She pointed out that these huge crowds are turning out for Bernie's REGULAR CAMPAIGN EVENTS, not his campaign launch event, and how unheard of this is at this stage of a primary!
She points out that Bernie Sanders' 10,000 DWARFS other candidates' regular campaign events by WELL OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!
I picture HRC's supporters burning the midnight oil tonight, trying desperately to think of some way - ANY way - to put a negative spin on Bernie's huge event tomorrow.
THE DESPERATION - IT BERNS!

(20,215 posts)I'm in Texas. He won't be here for many months I'm sure. I'm willing to travel to see him, but his "find event" page is a pain in the ass.
sabrina 1
(62,325 posts)He has listed his next 11 events under the 'attend events' button on the front page.
If you scroll down the page to near the bottom you will see listed under 'organizing' I believe, 'find events in your area'. If you got there you can put in your zip code to see if anything is coming up near you.
I found nothing in my area yet (Upstate NY) but I am sure there will be in the future.
MrMickeysMom
(20,453 posts)Perhaps events will happen in that order
How upstate are you, sabrina? Southern Tier or up-upstate?
sabrina 1
(62,325 posts)but far enough that I don't go there if I can avoid it. Lol, I'm not a city person. But if Bernie goes to either of those two cities, we will be there.
MrMickeysMom
(20,453 posts)While we're both waiting to see him, congratulations for NY and the decision re: the oil and gas industry' s horizontal drilling. We in Pennsylvania are right behind you
sabrina 1
(62,325 posts)for me. I thought he was on board with the Fracking Industry, and was thinking we would have to fight for a long time to try to stop it. So it was a real surprise when he made that decision. I wonder what happened?
I hope PA follows next. That would be great.

(180 posts)I'm from Chicago, I'm hoping he plans to come here, the sooner the better!
As of now the campaign had no plans to come here!
Keep calling your local T.V. Stations about giving Bernie coverage.

(62,325 posts)Walker is a bought and paid for Koch brothers creation. Why he gets elected is beyond me. Maybe if enough people voted, he wouldn't, but there has to be a good Democrat running against these Corporate funded candidates.

(9,298 posts)did a great segment on this event, and the joy just spilled out of her. Wonder if Russ Feingold will be there...what a twofer that would be. These crowds trump absolutely everything negative being said about Bernie, and I can only imagine how they're energizing him.
Feelin' the Bern!
