Whether tis nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous Hillbots or.....
Well, you get the idea. I really, really hate to leave DU. I've enjoyed posting in the science forum and elsewhere; DU has been my creative outlet as well as an online forum. I'm not certain JPR is ready to take that place.......yet!

(13,685 posts)What would be the best way to get the attention of the DU PTB to let them know we don't like the way this place is being run?

(3,343 posts)And aren't about to start. Just a heads up.

(13,685 posts)It's a cash cow. They get a lot of milk from us.
It would be real simple for them to level the playing field to make this place more representative of the customers who are about 80% Bernie fans.
Right now they are tilting the field so that their personal feelings are not hurt. Somehow they need to put aside their personal feelings and deliver what the majority of their customers desire.

It's not that hard for the admins to follow the causality on their own.

(13,685 posts)I know I am going underground somewhat. Now that the primary is over, it's on to the convention and helping Bernie get everything he can from the party.
Then it's back to environmental matters for me. The death of the Pacific ocean looms larger every day.

(3,343 posts)Popping back in as I'm used to it and hoping JPR becomes as active as this place is, just minus the assholes.

(2,968 posts)and avoid the rest. I understand the need to leave and wanting to
stay. The situation is fluid as they say. Basically just like the rest of
life (as I keep telling myself).

(41,600 posts)That gives the site money. I don't donate to people or places who hold the values of this place. Clearly, Progressives are the enemy of DU. So be it.

(6,323 posts)JPR is just one.
I'll keep my account but not participate. I'm truly curious how fucked up this place can get.

(13,685 posts)One will have to go 'underground' to keep posting here and not get banned, while staying true to one's principles.

(10,007 posts)The Hillary supporters on this board have established themselves firmly as the enemies of progressive policy, critical thinking, and anti-war activism. I have no more desire to interact with them that I do with the Tea Party.

(41,600 posts)I'm out of here...again. Until Bernie is the nominee, or 4-8 years from now.
I left once many years ago and I came back for Bernie ONLY.
Just remember, even if you just read DU and not post, they still make money, so go cold turkey. Once you leave, leave.

(4,552 posts)ah well, I am going to pop in once-in-awhile to see how crazy it gets, but I know I won't be able to comment!
I left DKos and came here awhile ago.
Now I will leave here to go to JPR and other sites I have discovered.
I have always enjoyed your comments and hope I will read more of them at other more progressive open minded sites!
Stay cool.

(41,600 posts)If you have Adblock on your computer, they don't make money, but if you use a Smartphone to read DU, like I currently do, they make money.
I'm deleting DU from my phone if Bernie isn't the nominee and would only read DU from my laptop...if ever.
I'm sure we'll all bump into each other elsewhere on the Interwebs. Good people tend to gravitate toward each other. Progressives are good people.
