I just question why they harp on this.

To be honest I'm getting text messages from a friend who watches that channel telling me this. I don't watch them much at all.

The opinions of some of their hosts IRL likely differ greatly from what they are commanded to utter on air. I.e. Ed Schultz is full-on Bernie on RT America, but if were still with his old network he would not be allowed to espouse such opinions.

Belittled him, creating faux scandals and talking points and repeated them over and over and over again.
Work with the print media (WaPo - esp Capehart) to promote the bullshit.

And just like people that do not listen to the propaganda on faux, those that do not listen to the propaganda on msnbc are in total shock and disbelief when they hear what comes out of those corporate funded stations.
