Bernie Sanders supporters were not very welcome in a meeting of New York Democratic delegates. The Bernie backers found they’re mic cut when they tried to speak, and one was hit with a cane by an elderly man. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, break it down. “My name is Moumita Ahmed, and I co-founded Millennials for Bernie Sanders. I have put in tremendous work to help Sen. Sanders get elected in as many states possible, and partially as a result of that work, I was chosen by the campaign to go to the DNC in July as an at-large delegate.

We had a meeting with the New York delegates yesterday at 10 a.m. in Midtown at a union space, where things went awry really quickly after Christine Quinn got up on stage and declared only ONE candidate cares about poor people and that that candidate was Hillary — as if Bernie never existed.”

If you won the race you don't go and challenge the 2nd place winner to another race. Nor do you go and hit them.

5. Appalling how this old man, a Clinton delegate slapped and then struck

a young woman with a CANE telling her "why don't you sit down!" at a Democratic event in New York this week.
An entitled white male, a sexist and racist clearly displaying anger and physical abuse with no reservation against a young woman of color. I hope the charges against him are serious and that the neglectful corporate media starts covering this story immediately. This is unacceptable, another dangerous symptom of how badly our society is regressing and declining.
