Bernie Sanders campaigns as an independent who describes himself as a Democratic socialist. Senator Sanders has voted with Democrats 95 percent to 99 percent of the time according to CQ Vote Studies. It has been suggested today that Senator Sanders can't be trusted.

I'm posting this in the Sanders group to get a sense of how many people here in our group and at DU trust Senator Bernie Sanders to vote in the Senate for Democratic values and principles and stand with the Democratic party. It has been suggested that Senator Sanders can't be trusted. Since our group is so small anyone is invited to vote in the poll, not just members of the group.

I trust Bernie to work the system for the people, to persevere, to not give up, to get what he can in the moment while setting up for future efforts.

I trust him to work for, and to vote for, democratic values and principles. It's not a partisan thing.
