Democratic Underground has it's Hillary Supporters, sure, but the enthusiastic majority of DU posters certainly seems to to be thrilled about Bernie Sanders. In fact, his numbers kind of remind me of another popular guy around here:

(23,730 posts)there's "party" lines that can develop to the point of barring any alternative interpretations or demurral, there's a handful of hosts and other big rollers who may or may not let you contradict them (exception that proves the rule, Theology's rug)

(45,251 posts)I see Hillary has slowly crept up since April. At one point, Bernie's number of DUers was more than ten times hers.
BTW, I am not a fan of that graphic. Did we learn nothing from Hillary's logo pointing right?

(2,089 posts)With Bernie in the role of Obama? I sure hope so! I think that this enforced silence in the Hillary camp is the biggest sign that she's really scared, and at a loss for what to do. She's caught in a big dilemma between he Wall Street donors on the one hand and the people, who are now older and wiser to the tricks of corporate BS, thanks to Obama, on the other. She hasn't quite figured out exactly how she's going to handle this one, how to artfully navigate the political rapids, dodging the inevitable boulders and obstacles of voter scrutiny. It's a brave new world, Hillary - and welcome to the populist 'hood, where we don't take no corporate crud from nobody!

(55,981 posts)Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
