'THE FULL BERNIE': Watch @BernieSanders speak with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow!

(20,453 posts)Bernie (as usual) comes off honestly and clearly confident in his ability to sum up what is happening not only with this campaign, but the disconnection of most voters and phenomena to explain it.
I believe (and I'll test this with my sister, who is a real Rachel fan) many viewers will know Bernie Sanders much better as a result of her interview with him
I don't really watch Maddow anymore, but I know that she does her homework. I know she did a fair job as a liberal.

(62,325 posts)Rachel does do her homework. I haven't watched the show for a long time now. I think the media is going to learn that having Bernie on any show, ups their ratings instantly.

(45,251 posts)airwaves, Bernie turns it to his advantage: That's a valid point. We need more debates.
So smart.
This interview sought to get information on the table, not going for "gotchas." However, she did not fawn or pander, either.
It could be interesting to compare this with her interview of Hillary.
Thanks, Catherina

(23,156 posts)I married a young Jewish man thirty-five years ago. He was the youngest son of a youngest son, and at all family gatherings there were hordes of older Jewish men. I became very fond of that category of people. So, while Bernie does not quite feel like one of the relatives, he's close enough that I really like him.
And, oh, yes, I am very much liking his message.
