1. Raising grassroots money faster than candidate Obama did in 07/08.
2. Doing better in the polls than candidate Obama did at his equivalent time in 07/08.

Those are a couple of big ones.

3. Doing all of this despite a attempted media blackout.
4. Bigger crowds in MA than candidate Obama had during the 07/08 primaries.
5. If elected he would be the first Jew to occupy the Oval Office.
6. If elected he would be the oldest person ever elected to the Oval Office.
7. If elected he would be the first Democratic Socialist to occupy the Oval Office.

Granted numbers 5, 6, and 7 have yet to have happened yet but if they did they would already add to the historicness of this election.
