It gives me more of a feel where things are going.
Sometimes pro Bernie groups sound more like an echo chamber.
And I begin to wonder what is real. How many people feel that way etc.

HOWEVER

The sentiment detection system is quite literal and robotic. It judges sentiment based on keywords and hashtags.

I saw a tweet that said "'Hillary Clinton has always been progressive' LOL" This tweet was obviously, to me and you, sarcasm. But to the sentiment detection system, it believed that it was an 87% positive tweet about Hillary.

Then there was "I heard my dad say he hopes Bernie wipes the floor with Clinton" <This tweet got a neutral sentiment rating, because the detector couldn't tell what the hell that means. But you and I can tell that that's a pretty good endorsement of Bernie.

So while this is totally neat, and may actually give a rough (very rough) estimate of the general sentiment of tonight, keep this stuff in mind.

Also keep in mind that if it was made to judge the debates, it shouldn't be judging the sentiment right now.

Still, I'll be using this for fun!!!
