CNN gives Sanders and his campaign no airtime to respond to these highly partisan attacks.

(4,234 posts)The nutjobs in the House were going bonkers over every shred of evidence that the VA and any other agency of government that had the slightest blemish on it and they were making accusations right and left. They were on the case not out of love of country but because of their agenda of destroying government in general and embarrassing the Obama admin in particular. Bernie I'm sure felt that Shinseki was a good and capable director and the firestorm being stirred up by the tea baggers was no different from any of the other firestorms they were then and are currently stoking and blowing out of all proportion over Planned Parenthood, ACORN, the IRS, Benghazi, Hillary's emails, etc. etc. etc.
CNN would do well to investigate some of the multitude of other so-called scandals that the baggers and other assorted nutjobs have drummed up with almost no evidence and almost entirely for political purposes.
I wouldn't expect them to do much investigating, however, without vetting it thoroughly with their billionaire supporters and/or owners.

(6,994 posts)and all the Hillary supporters please don't all jump at once but where is Bill.He is obviously working in the sewer again.
In 2008 when all the BS was coming out about Barrack Obama ..well as it turns out Bill was working behind the scenes digging up shit. (refer to link below "Bill the Co-Star"
The Clinton News Network and Anderson Cooper did this hit piece without allowing Bernie any air time to counter these attacks.
Anderson Cooper tried to hit Bernie with a gotcha question in the debate and after a Hillary response did not allow Bernie to respond or counter.
This is the way Bill Clinton works in the background with his media friends to dig up shit like this and not giving all the facts.
I was trying to email CNN to demand they allow Bernie to respond to these BS charges..
but CNN apparently has removed their email access
Remember when the Republicans were cutting VA budgets.
The VA was closing hospitals and budget cuts affecting the VA?
Why in the hell didn't CNN have a hit piece on that.
I remember some of Bill's negative actions against Obama for his wife Hillary in 2008 but it just seems that Bill just might be working even longer hours than in 2008.Please check out these links and especially Bill the co-star

(6,994 posts)what Anderson Cooper just did with the hit piece without allowing Bernie Sanders to respond is typical of a Bill Clinton style 2008 all over again.
Its getting to the point if Hillary wins the nomination I will be one of those liberals that will be staying home on election day.

Clinton Reaches Out to Latino Voters.
Get the message? CNN is all in for Clinton and doesn't care if people capable of rational thought know it. Those people are not the target audience.

(2,382 posts)Sanders is one of my senators, and when my son's best friend, who joined the Marines soon after him, was denied benefits for PTSD by the VA, I called Bernie's office for advice and help. The friend's father is a Republican and didn't think it would do any good to ask Bernie for help. He was wrong. Bernie's people were on it the very next day, and the friend got his benefits. So I KNOW, from personal experience, that Bernie is as good as his word, and the slime buckets that are Swift-boating him can kiss my ass.
I used to think that Cooper had at least a LITTLE bit of integrity. Guess not.
Cooper is not only the 1%, he's probably the .001%.
Peace
