I don't think they want new ideas in the party. And these young people are filled with them.

Their futures are so much at stake.

Boomers should take our wonderful, creative, SMART, driven and tech savvy Millennials and start a Progressive Party.

We'd have Independents, Millennials and Boomers and would be a force to be reckoned with.

Democrats WILL rue the day they turned their backs on the Millennials. Their days will be numbered.

No, the party won't embrace them. They're doing everything in their power to stop them - BECAUSE THEY SUPPORT BERNIE. On the other hand, if Millennials were supporting Hillary, the Red Carpets would have been rolled out a long time ago.

electoral system to not allow for viable third (and 4th, and 5th) parties. Our 2 party, winner takes all system is why I believe voter turnout is usually so low. If we had a system similar to most other developed nations, where there can be 3, 4, 5 different political parties will full participation in the process and run-off elections, we would already have a progressive political party and, by now, both Dems and Repubs would be wallowing in insignificance.
