Stand up for Bernie chapters
Bernie frequently says that millions of Americans need to "stand up" and get involved and remain involved to win against the Big Special Interests.
I see one such "Stand-Up for Bernie" but it's actually about using stand-up comedians to draw a crowd.
But more than just a one-time event, what about Stand Up For Bernie chapters nationwide? Have people declare that they will truly Stand Up For Bernie and be one of those millions he seeks. If we're lucky, and motivated, we might just be able to help produce those millions that are needed for a political revolution. Certainly I'm not the only one with this thought.
As for what exactly we would do once we're standing up, well, that has yet to be worked out. Could always do the usual: phone-banking, block-walking, shopping mall tables staffed by Bern-ers, letter-writing, car caravans, and I do like the idea of Stand-Up with comedians. That's fucking brilliant.
This race is far from over.
