Would love to see Bernie make a bold move.

Since there aren't many debates and they are buried on weekends (thanks DWS).....
Since Donald Trump continues to suck all of the air with his daily outrages....
Since so many national media types are saying Hillary is already a done deal.....

I'm wondering if Bernie shouldn't try a couple of unconventional things.
What about announcing who his running mate and some cabinet members would be.
This wouldn't have to, necessarily, be saying exact names for each spot.
But, it would be throwing out several names of people he has spoken with that might have interest and he respects to show the type of people he would surround himself with.

The cherry on the top would be holding a press conference to introduce a running mate.
He could say that he is an unconventional candidate and he is breaking with the tradition of announcing a running mate in August and doing this now.
There are no party rules saying when a running mate has to be announced.
It would gather great interest and a whole lot of free media for several weeks.

Traditions sometimes have a basis in reality.

And the reality is, Bernie's getting enough of the right kind of attention. He really doesn't need the MSM. Elections abroad have shown that word of mouth via social media and the web are more powerful every day. And MSM has been forced by that fact to give Bernie coverage lately, and that need will only grow.

This must be like a worm in the rose for Hillary, who is getting all the wrong kind of attention from both MSM and social, mostly due to self-inflicted wounds. She doesn't have all that many friends in the right places. I am sure that Warren Buffett's shilling for her is going to backfire, big time. After all, who wants a lizard-brain on the team?

If the DNC says that violates their bullshit rules, Hillary can just stand up on that stage alone.

That might make it a little clearer to the voters who DWS and HRC really are.

but he should offer Omalley a cabinet spot if he,ll drop out now. that debate would be just him and Hillary. I think he,d get a lot more visibility with just him in the race, would get a bump by picking up Omalley suporters too.

Bernie has no need to pull publicity stunts. If anything, they'd more than likely work against him. Let him stay true to himself, while the others play games.

Bernie will win through his ground game. As long as it keeps growing, the MSM will have no choice but (finally) to show him his due respect.
