Job Creators = Feudal Overlords

Anybody besides me who was crazy enough to listen to the Clown Car Debate last night notice how often the Republican respondents referred to "The Job Creators" and that they did it in such deferential tones?

I think we need to point out that their Job Creators sound a lot like Feudal Overlords.

Time for Bernie to drag us out of the Middle Ages!

The professor showed us a chart of how income in the middle ages was distributed and how people ranked in that society then she showed us the modern version of that. Now things are much worse than they were then, this was in the late 80's btw.

But the awe with which they spoke of their masters last night really struck me.

They were selling it, but I was not buying. I think most folks who are not brain washed by Faux News are no longer buying it.

I am tired of the Oligarchy. I think a lot of America is.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]However, I've been saying the same thing for a long time. The corporatists want nothing more than to take us back to a society of lords and serfs (aka, owners and owned), with a few favored professions layered in between. I even named it "neofeudalism."

They just have different uniforms, weapons, and propaganda methods now.

Agreed that many folks have been making various versions of the point for quite a while now.

I think we, as a country, have started to achieve critical mass on this issue thanks in great part to OWS.

Just noticing how Blatantly the obsequious Master Worship was on display Thursday night and wanting it called out.
