We were going down the book and stationary aisle to look for a wall calendar. I wasn't looking and my son threw this in the buggy and started snickering (he hates Trump), so when I saw what he'd done, I said, "Let's go put this where it really belongs." I walked them a couple of aisles over and put it up there.

Downside: I had to explain to my 8-year-old daughter what a douche was. She rolled her eyes and made gagging faces. Meh. She has the equipment that it's used on, so she understood. I also explained there were rare, rare reasons to ever have to use one.

I can think of a better place that book could go, but it would be highly illegal to put it there. This is good too though.

Not sure how my 6'1" son saw that, but he did and thought he'd tease his Mommy.

We grabbed a Limbaugh book, too, but my son said he wasn't worth the effort.

And one next to me with our Dem mayor's sticker and an Obama/Biden sticker.

I have been known to take books like that at Barnes and Noble, and put them in the Humor section.

and rearranged things, causing extra work for you?

It's only semi-amusing, and some employee is going to have to put it back. They probably won't get a laugh out of it, just chalk this up to another asshole customer.

I suspect most people in such jobs today would not view customers moving stock around as a break in the routine to be appreciated. More like some jerk has created extra work for them.

Just my opinion. But then, I always put my grocery cart back in the corral provided. I don't view leaving them strewn around the parking lot as job security. But then, I also take a very dim view of cars in the middle of parking spaces, making it harder to find a place to park.

Consideration for others ought to be basic to everyone.
