Uncommitted Superdelegate: "Her voter base does not seem as gung-ho energetic as Sander's base"

Ya think???

Her voter base does not seem as gung-ho energetic as Sanders’s base,” Mr. McDonald said. “... an enthusiastic base can make a big difference in the early stages of a presidential nomination campaign, and if Hillary can’t pull away from Sanders fairly early in the season, I suspect he will gain strength rapidly."

It's hard to get "gung-ho energetic" about pragmatism.

On the other hand, enthusiasm comes easily to those who are genuinely inspired by an honest, principled visionary who is a passionate advocate for The People's racial, social, and economic justice.

A mile wide and an inch deep. I think that summed it up well, and now that more people are seeing Bernie as a viable alternative that support is collapsing quickly. Some genuinely want her as the nominee, many were on board because she seemed the only option.

That must be what is happening now, because the most recent Des Moines Register poll had Hillary's numbers drop significantly, like -6 or -7, but Bernie went up only 1. The rest went to Undecided, which indicates these former Hillary voters are transitioning to Bernie.
