Boutwell Memorial Auditorium is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Birmingham, Alabama. source: Wikipedia
In my youth growing up near B'ham, I spent a few Catholic church service occasions in that hall. The pictures I have seen shows it overflow packed, which may mean 6,000 or so. Birmingham is a Democratic city in an otherwise Republican state. The same can be said for Mobile, Macon County (Tuskeegee), and most of the "Black Belt" (Selma, Demopolis, Livingston, etc). My alma mater isn't as R as they want you to think they are, despite a small A-A population (~10%).
It is heartwarming to see that crowd, I would venture to say that Hillary wouldn't get the level of support.
