Martin O’Malley campaigning in North Charleston on Thursday.
Former Maryland governor and Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley will campaign in North Charleston on Thursday about reducing gun violence.
O’Malley will meet with local faith and community leaders in event tied to the June 17 shootings at Mother Emanuel AME Church that killed nine parishoners, including pastor state Sen. Clementa Pinckney.
The gathering is set for 12 noon at the Family Life Center, Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 7396 Rivers Ave., North Charleston.
