Guam AG, Rev and Tax sues two businesses to pay combined $400,000 in owed taxes

Two businesses are being sued by the Department of Revenue and Taxation and the Office of the Attorney General for $400,000 in taxes owed.

The AG's office announced in a news release that two cases were filed Thursday to collect Business Privilege Taxes owed to the government of Guam:

Polaris Guam LLC; and
Antonio Macasaquit, doing business as Captain Kid Airport Café.

Polaris Guam LLC. owns Verona Resort & Spa and owes the government $324,473.55 in delinquent taxes, interest and penalties, court documents state.

Macasaquit owes the government $59,603.35, documents state.
