some people spend decades talking about things . But Beto HAS done it in Texas .

But I have to say that it boggles the mind to know that, given the choice, that people actually voted for Ted Cruz over Beto! There have to have been a whole lot who really weren't paying attention!

It showed off Beto as his thoughtful best - and with humor! The previous time he was on - during his Senate run - I didn't think Colbert gave him enough time and didn't ask all the right questions, but this time he was the main guest and not only did they cover a lot of issues, but you could tell they were having fun!
