(14,176 posts)and I'm frightened about this weekend. I hope the Spanish language media is informing people and letting them know their rights. The ACLU has published some Spanish language material about what to do if ICE comes to your door, but I don't know what they have done to get the information into the community.
I had a student last quarter who's DACA, with an undocumented mother and an American born sister. She told me that her family has had discussions about what her sister is supposed to do if she comes home and her older sister and mother aren't there--who to call, where to go, etc. It has be feel like terrorism to them.
