You make me ponder an intriguing possibility: maybe these are just "storms" to select folks in the news media, and die-hard supporters of other candidates.
Maybe to most Democrats... they're not even passing showers.

(673 posts)He is also the top 2nd choice for Sanders and Harris supporters, and in a statistical tie for top 2nd choice of Warren and Pete voters. So that kind of punches a hole in the idea that Sanders dropping out would boost Warren. Biden would just as likely get a bigger boost from that.
We are still 7+ months away from Iowa, but Biden is currently a clear frontrunner with what appears to be a very stable base of support and is an acceptable alternative to large portions of every other upper tier candidates base.
I have been feeling like Harris is in a lot of trouble right now. If she isn't able to use these debates to move the needle she could look to drop from the race at some point prior to Iowa. Her endorsement could be one of the biggest prizes of the primary though. If she were to drop early and throw her support behind somebody else, she'd probably be at the top of the list for VP for that person.
