Warren visits migrant care shelter, says children being marched 'like little prisoners'

Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) says she saw children being marched around "like little prisoners" during a visit to a migrant shelter Wednesday.

Warren told reporters in Florida that she looked at some of the children in the Homestead emergency care facility from a ladder, but she said she was not allowed into shelter itself, HuffPost's Maxwell Strachan reported.

“I saw a harsh, flat, packed down field with a couple of soccer goals in each one, baking in the sun and temporary shelters that were all covered up, and children being marched from one to another in single file with guards. I waved, some of the children looked over, some kept their heads down. Finally, a group of children waved and quickly pulled their hands down,” she said.

Several other Democratic candidates have announced plans to visit the migrant shelter in Florida this week, including South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and former Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-Texas).

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) visited the shelter Monday, while Sens. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) as well as former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro are reportedly making a trip to the shelter later this week.[/div

Why is a United States Senator barred from entering a facility paid for by U. S. tax dollars? Get whatever back up the Senator needs to enter, legally. What are they hiding? Why are we not "welcome to visit anytime"? Who is blocking the Senator? Come on, MSM, publicize the facts!

sleeping on floors, two meals a day, treating them like animals, no showering, no basic hygiene practices. WTF this is not normal and this is being done in our names.

limbaugh leads several hundred chickenhawk assholes on 1500 radio stations making excuses for it and creating the alternate reality in which it has become normaL for them to do shit like this.

88 fucking universities that have no excuse not to look for alternative radio stations to broadcast sports on - stations that don't deny global warming and make excuses for this child abuse

on a local radio program the other night i heard a caller repeat what limbaugh and other have been saying for years - that democrats WANT illegal aliens to come to the US because they can give them driver's liceenses etc and then get them to vote for dems.

that is a regular meme and it helps enable and excuse their own election fraud/theft and voter suppression.

the thing is, how many calls like that are being made to stations across the country and where are they coming from? we know paid callers have been used in the past but why wouldn't the kremlin do that too?

and some hosts read emails from listeners.

dems need to ask mueller a very important question "did your investigation find any evidence of russian use of talk radio?"

"is that why the trump team had sam nunberg listen to "1000's of hours of talk radio" in 2014 as he told gabriel sherman for new york magazine 4/3/16?"

whatever his answer is it will draw a larger audience to any hearings and anything else he's already done.
