Does Harris have a plan to take down Warren?

Currently she trails Warren by a significant margin. If she wants to be President she will have to pass Warren. I don’t think she is going to settle for VP. Honestly, I think Harris would be a better fit than Warren for POTUS

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Biden lands 2020 endorsement from Atlanta Mayor Bottoms

"The larger context was that you have to work across the aisle with people you don't like, people you don't agree with," Bottoms said. "I do it each and every day as mayor of Atlanta in a red state."

Bottoms added that Biden's work on civil rights issues and his progressive resume demonstrate his commitment and that the remarks were blown out of proportion.

"My position is, if his explanation was good enough for John Lewis, then it's good enough for me," Bottoms added, referring to the Georgia congressman and civil rights icon who was among Biden's defenders after the controversy.

And he is a stand up guy, and what he tweeted proves that. I am not upset with him, but after reading some of the things said by those who claim to be supporting Biden, I am reminded of what happened to Hillary in 2016 when the trolls and bros came here and started attacking her for every thing she said or did that was bad for Bernie.

Now I honestly think that what is happening now is that the trolls are back trying get people here mad at each other and to divide DU, just like in 2016. Remember how back then according to the trolls, Bernie was the ONLY ONE that could beat trump. Now I see the same thing coming from those who say they support Biden. It's not all those who support Biden, but in the last week it seems like a flood of negative post are going around by new low count posters, trying to stir things up. I think they are here to cause problems, one way or another.

When O'Malley dropped out I decided to go with Hillary, and one of the reason was that I was upset with the way the bros were going after her for no real reason at a all. I posted many times that what they said reflected on Bernie, and I think some here are doing the same thing, attacking other candidates, and making Biden look bad at the same time. I also think a lot of good people are getting caught up in the heat of moment and that helps the trouble makers.

The trolls and trouble makers are the ones afraid of Harris a lot of them have made the claim to be supporting Biden. I will gladly vote for Joe if he is the nominee, as I will for any other Democrat who may become the nominee.

If less than 20 have met the funding criterion, those who haven't can lose their spots to higher-polling candidates; if more than 20 have met the funding criterion, only the 20 highest polling get in. For example, Swalwell will likely lose his spot to Bullock.

Maybe she can find something to accuse Warren of without having any proof whatsoever, and rely on the MSM, or anyone else not to call her out on it. Laying the groundwork.

"Praising and coddling individuals who made it their life work and built their reputation off of segregation of the racists in the United States. That’s a problem. I would not be a member of the United States Senate if those men that he praised had their way. I wouldn’t." Kamala Harris

bused through a locally implemented program. Berkley is and has been way before Harris was born
one one of the most politically, socially, culturally liberal towns in America. It’s diverse population
does not live in segregated neighborhoods.
Actually it is known for its support of radicals of all persuasions.
It is the home of the University of California at Berkley which goes back to over a hundred years and for many decades has been an institution for diversity.

Harris is trying to disconnect herself from that sort of tradition to make a connection with
voters she needs in places like South Carolina where black Americans lived in segregationist
times. She is not going to want to associate herself with a town actively supporting civil rights, home of the free speech movement, with an educated, often highly, middle class and upper middle class black population well represented in numbers and influence.

According to CNN, Harris is telling the truth about her busing story. According to his documented voting record, Harris is also telling the truth about Biden opposing the Federal law for busing. Biden also admits that.

To me, Harris' role in this situation is minutiae compared to Biden's vote.

not under federal mandate. I know she is not lying about being bused. The school board, according to the article, unanimously voted to implement a busing program to desegregate
schools.
Biden did not vote for a ban on such programs, or against such state or locally implemented desegregation plans.
In his answer to Harris, he mentions the authority of local school boards to do exactly
what was done in Berkley,

I'm stating that the real issue is that Biden voted against it being a federal law.

You and I apparently disagree that this is one of the civil rights laws that the states should have decided. Growing up in the south, I know for a fact that rural parts of Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee would never have mandated this.

Regardless of how liberal her hometown is, it still had the right to reverse the busing decision on the local level.

Any Black woman in America will tell you that even Berkley's city council can turn against her. Whether it's watching your own son being choked to death by cops and the cops being found not guilty or being a little girl with perfect scores being denied certain honors, there is no "sure thing" for Black women.

Though even federal laws can be reversed, Kamala was pressing Joe on voting against a federal civil rights issue - the one thing the Black people have been able to rely on in the United States.

She tied her personal story to Joe’e vote when, in fact, she was bused under local school board authority and the program was implemented locally.
He told her “well you could have been bused through local authority,”
.
She was.

It was, using herself as an example, a powerful way to try to take down Biden for his vote against
Federally forced busing.

But she was not an example of anything to do with Biden’s vote.

nothing to do with police brutality. Joe has been supporting civil rights and women’s rights for many decades.
Her beef with him on his vote against federal busing should not have featured her as a poster girl
for it.
Why didn’t she use the example of someone else bused under the federal busing law?

This was more theatrical, but a misrepresentation of fact. Have no complaint against her bringing
up his vote from decades ago and letting him explain it.

Manipulative stories in which one is the star, no.
