GOP Group Aims New Ad at Beto O’Rourke

"SNIP....

“A prominent conservative group is thrusting itself into the Democratic primary with a TV ad assailing Beto O’Rourke — a move that comes as Republicans consider a broader campaign to meddle in the opposing party’s contest to take on President Trump,” Politico reports.

“The anti-tax Club for Growth is expected to begin airing a two-minute commercial in Iowa this week aimed at dampening liberal support for O’Rourke, who’s expected to enter the race any day. The spot paints the former Texas congressman as a politician dripping with ‘white male privilege’ who’s undeserving of the comparisons he’s drawing to Barack Obama.”

Beto O'Rourke. You can't buy that quality, so the GOP hopes to ding it. Just in case.

And yes, good one on Beto O'Rourke. He's making them sweat.

Did Beto officially announce he is running? If he has not then why are they bothering attacking him.

Well, if they waste their money and then he does not run then we can be happy that they wasted what they think is more important than anything. That much less to attack those who are running.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

GOP group will get more bang for their buck if they label him before Beto announces with his usual wise words. This is to label Beto in the GOP bases mind as much as anything.

He’s already been on the business end of the Sirota treatment. I assume there will be other attempts to slur him and I’m sure there will be people gullible enough to believe them.

Bernie brings the criticism on himself by not releasing his tax returns and refusing to sanction Russia on more than one occasion, along with his opaque views on guns.
