Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumA question for Warren supporters.
I know some dont like the what if speculation game.
But, lets say she wins the nomination.
Do you have a favorite in mind for her Veep.
I say Julián Castro.
A little more moderate than her, Latino, from Southwest.
He really impressed me in first debate showing some fire.

(5,995 posts)Used to live in SA and like him a lot, but wasn't getting a strong vibe before the debate.
More to be seen, but think the field for the Prez is down to ~4 with another 3/4 possible for VP in the current crop.

(7,549 posts)I think she would surprise many with her choices for VP and cabinet. IMO, since I hate the idea of vacating another Senate seat on top of the one Warren would vacate (horrors), any current Senator would not be on my list. I would like to see the Repubs' heads explode to see her appoint academics to cabinet posts.

(15 posts)would be a good balance and the first women president-vp team in history of the world (maybe?) and assorted combination of white, jamaican, indian and purported native-american. Works too if Harris is pres and Warren is veep

(1,810 posts)Solid progressive. Always ranked near the top. Strong congressional connections and well respected by his colleagues. Would do well campaigning in states like PA and OH.
That would make it two East Coasters on the ticket but I'm not sure region matters as much anymore.

(10,895 posts)might decide in March or April to drop out and endorse Warren or vice versa.
They are splitting the most progressive wing.
If not, I think they will basically hand it to Biden.
