Allan Lichtman's take on this week's Dem debates

This from the guy who developed The Keys to the White House and who always correctly predicts the next president:

===========================

The debates. Biden survived barely. Warren soared. Harris fell. Bernie was Bernie. Booker became relevant. Buttigieg was quietly thoughtful. Ultimately, the race to take on @realDonaldTrump
will come down to Biden versus Warren. My money is on Warren:: smart, feisty, passionate.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Warren and Sanders nullify one another. They have the same constituency and come from the same region. Biden also comes from New England but represents a different constituency. Sanders has no chance, and Warren can't do as well as she needs to do in the initial contests because of Sanders.

Black folks will decide the outcome. If Harris demonstrates success in the early contests, Biden will be in trouble.

Warren has very weak support with African-Americans. I suppose she would get more support as things go along, but last I saw, she was at 7%.

I think if it happens, it will really pit the "safe choice" candidate Biden against the big, bold idea candidate Warren. My sense is Dems are more excited by big and bold than by safe. Warren knows her stuff and explains it in easy to understand terms. After a lifetime in politics, Biden should know his stuff, but he rambles and gets off track when talking about it. I don't think he'd fare well in a 1 on 1 debate vs Warren.

Around Biden on many issues, and has real policy proposals more progressive than Biden. Women are more empowered now also getting a lot more support for her, but whoever wins the primaries should win easily as a lot more on putin's puppet and other KGBOP members corrupted get exposed.the puppet is in deep trouble, with others.

Once that happens, my money is on Warren. She is just such a dynamic campaigner, that to go with her smarts. And she can match Biden step for step as the townie that you would be comfortable sitting down with to have a burger and a brew with at the local pub.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
