Open response poll: anybody not running/talking about running you would like to run?

I know we've got a damn full bench as it is, but it's still early.

I'd really like Jon Tester to run, personally.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

He is the real deal. He is smart, articulate and has charisma. Maher asked him a leading question about how Democrats have to distance themselves away from being branded Socialists. Gillum totally disagreed, he said that's not the way to fight right wing propaganda, running away from a word, a label. He said we need to explain the issues we are for, explain what we stand for step by step and most importantly we need to explain how we are going to help working class Americans.

Andrew Gillum would have won in Florida had they counted all of the votes. Rick Scott, a Medicare thief, won because of election fraud.

I hope Andrew Gillum is Example A in that regard and we aren't stupid enough to believe we can explain issues just because a handful of them poll well individually.

In totality the word is a disaster. I watched DeSantis use it successfully here in Florida. It was not election fraud. It is simply much easier for an extreme right nominee to be elected in swing states than someone who is considered far left. I made that point here and on MyDD and elsewhere beginning more than a decade ago. Once both parties started picking from the edges it could only favor the GOP. Gillum was rejected by 46% of the electorate as too liberal while only 35% in the same exit poll said DeSantis was too conservative. Obviously that is asinine. The percentages should be reversed. But perception is everything and it is the reality we face.

Although he only just became a Governor. Once he endorsed Kamala Harris I figured that was a done deal; he'll stay put. Andrew Gillum was on Maher's show last night. He sounded like a candidate. My husband was really impressed.

As for me? We have a bounty of candidates to choose from, so I'm quite content.
