Even on polls that aren’t so great, they still reflect movement when the electorate actually moves. Whatever you think about the reliability of the Harris poll, it is consistent with most of the other polls that things haven’t changed very much lately.

Online HarrisX tracking polls of the preselected Harris Panel of respondents ARE included in the RCP Polls Tracker.

But, since the HarrisX poll is a tracker that is released almost DAILY, we will have to wait and see if RealClearPolitics includes this particular on in their polling average.

Check out the 20+or so HarrisX polls released for August... so far.

or did I just use that as an opportunity to highlight certain "characteristics" of the online HarrisX tracking poll of the Harris Panel, which is a survey of preselected respondents that is polled over and over?

heh, did you see where the August 9th results of the HarrisX Poll that is the last poll used in the RCP Polls tracker, had exactly the same results as the one in the OP?

Here, in case you missed that:

From the previous online HarrisX Poll listed in RCP Polls

Aug 9-10, 2019
C+
HarrisX
451
RV
Biden 31%
Sanders 16%
Warren 10%
Harris 7%

Amazing, hmm? lol Who would have thought that a survey of the same people polled over and over would return such similar results?

But... the polls are what the polls are.

People should not cherry-pick polls based on whether they like the results.

Aug 2019

Perhaps that's why it's results are so similar, poll after poll?

They survey the same pool of people again and again because it's a tracking poll of the Harris Panel, a pre-selected group of respondents.

Look at this, for example:

From the previous online HarrisX Poll listed in RCP Polls:

Aug 9-10, 2019
C+
HarrisX
451
RV
Biden 31%
Sanders 16%
Warren 10%
Harris 7%

Um, these previous results are AMAZINGLY similar, hmmm?

But, the polls are what the polls are. This latest HarrisX poll will go into RCP Polls Tracker like the previous ones have.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/us/2020_democratic_presidential_nomination-6730.html

Actually, we will have to see if RCP Polls uses this particular HarrisX tracking Poll, since these are released almost on a daily basis.

Take a look at all the one's released so far for August, there are about 20 of them, at least:

Warren needs to improve in her appeal to those voters. I hear she is working hard on that.

But, putting sparring aside for a moment, let's both agree that Biden or Warren would make a much better President than Trump.

And that we will all be voting blue no matter who the nominee eventually is.

I respect your dedication to your chosen candidate.
