4. Senator Sanders will be on the mend for about a month

Earlier this year, I had a stent inserted into a coronary artery. Although I felt immensely better the day after the procedure, my cardiologist was very specific that I don't over-exert myself for the first month. I'm 20 years younger than the Senator so I wouldn't expect him to be up to full speed for a while.

I had two stents put in at age 61. I went back to work a day later and my doctor said I could start exercising a week later, which I did.

Both of those points you made are true. I think a lot of people may believe, however, that getting a stent is a bigger deal than it often is. Of course I don't know Bernie's situation, and I doubt anyone else on DU does either.
