So attorney general Barr has no telephone?

CNN reported he flew to the southern district of new york to give blessing on arrests?

Wouldn't a phone call have been sufficient?

Of course Rudy fell into this quite readily but the finger pointing in his direction will begin quite shortly. It's also possible that Barr is trying to protect Trump against his will more or less by getting Rudy out of the White House loop and Trumps favor. The upshot Barr acting against these guys will serve to make him less partisan...but too little and far too late.
