I find it interesting that the DNC held the same qualification levels for both September and October, someone needs to look into how they arrived at that decision. Also the possibility of how a political candidate for a major political party could commit FEC campaign finance laws...oh wait...

In the broadest sense, if she says she's a Democrat, she's a Democrat.

We can (and do) declare that she doesn't represent what we believe Democrats should be, but that doesn't really change the fact that she's a Democrat. There are Democrats all over the political spectrum, with the possible exception of the far right.

She's not even a conservative if one looks at her overall voting record. She just takes some very un-Democratic (in the party sense) stances on a few issues that stand in stark contrast to what Dems generally believe. And she likes attention and likes to ruffle feathers, so she accentuates those differences intentionally.

DU likely recognizes her as a Democrat because she's running as one in the campaign, similar to the reasoning behind why they recognize Bernie Sanders as one.

The DNC probably considers her a Democrat for similar reasons. Until and unless she pulls a Zell Miller, they probably will continue to do so.

Edit: in fairness, this pretty much was a Zell Miller moment. It will be interesting to see if she makes it official, though it would mean the end of her political career in Hawaii.

and calling the party warmongering and corrupt. And if she is describing HRC as rot to 'gain attention' we must push back on someone who is copying the traitor in the wh's book. She's just mad because she's been found out.

I think it's an act. She has a specific audience in mind, she is basically auditioning for a paid gig, and she doesn't care where the gig comes from. It's not a coincidence that she ran straight to Fox News.

"She's just mad because she's been found out."

Nah, it was already widely believed that there was something fishy going on and known that she was being backed by Republicans and Russia. In addition, her prior Islamaphobic and homophobic comments already had her on the radars of a lot of people. Her latest tirade is certainly egregious, but it's in character.

"we must push back"

Oh, certainly. She may turn out to be the best fundraiser her next primary opponent could ever have. She better hope she gets the gig at Fox News.

She noted the one thing Tulsi did not say in her rant and that is, she is not a Russian asset.

and I will also go back to that wisdom from Maya Angelou ...‘When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.’

People didn't do that with the traitor in the wh and look where we are

When will the Dems get tired of being excoriated and lied about by a so-called Dem. She is crossing a line here. Has she been [aying attention to what the traitor in the WH and his enablers are doing? Has she heard of the plight of the Kurds?

Warmongering and corrupt? She needs to go.
