Rep. Tulsi Gabbard says impeachment of Trump would be 'terribly divisive' for country
https://www.democraticunderground.com/1287292152#top
Think about that..
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
No one is talking about impeachment lightly. Its taken seriously. And like speaker Pelosi said, Trump impeaches himself with his actions.

(5,530 posts)I made a comment several months ago about Tulsi Gabbard being a Russian stooge. AND THEN had my comment removed for a DU violation.
Now look at the commentary when DUers FINALLY see the truth about her.

(1,713 posts)with Tulsi is ridiculous. She isn't going to be the nominee. I think some on here must literally sit at home all day, read tweets and watch cable tv. I mean, come on. No reason to continue this. She is an elected Democratic official from her state. She does have supporters we may need in 2020. I think enough of you have made your point. lol

(7,947 posts)If the Russians are actively trying to disrupt the Democratic Party by pushing a candidate, I sure want to know. I do understand that a candidate can't always choose their supporters-- I mean, David Duke will endorse you whether you want it or not-- but if it happens, first, frankly, a truly loyal candidate would withdraw rather than allow the Russians in to the campaign. (Or at least loudly denounce it.)
We just need to be aware of how drastically the Russians want to interfere. It's so weird that for all those years of the USSR, there was this constant fear of "communist infiltration." There were powerful indications, for example, that the CIA was riddled with infiltrators. And it wasn't until Russia wasn't communist that they actually managed to infiltrate the White House.

(10,131 posts)No. Not really.
Either Trump committed high crimes and misdemeanors or he didn't.
The Constitution doesn't say that is a partisan question.
If Trump obstructed justice as Mueller found, Trump should be impeached.
If Trump withheld aid from Ukraine until they manufactured dirt on his most likely 2020 opponent, Trump should be impeached.
If Trump's hotels took money for empty rooms from foreigners, Trump should be impeached.
Etc.
It is not a partisan question. Either Trump is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors or he isn't.
The Republican's would love to hide their corrupt President behind the skirts of partisanship but that is not what the Constitution directs.

But we should keep in mind that her anti war, anti imperialist message resonates with a growing number of Americans. We simply cannot afford guns at the cost of butter any longer! It's just longer and takes reading comprehension. FFS- guns at the cost of butter?? Are we in 1943? How about guns at the cost of health care, roads, etc.. (297,974 posts)to me why she supports a dictator who gasses his own people out of one side and then says she's the "peace candidate"?
I googled religion for gabbard and all kinds of things come up.. so I'll just say "I don't know"..

(297,974 posts)Gabbard is my rep and I'm grateful to Hillary.. Thank you, Hillary.
The hell with the bullshit "establishment" insult.
Gabbard outed herself with her paranoid ballistic spewing rw talking points at Hillary and then Running to Tucker's fox show to Whine about it. Those are the kind of people she attracts.

In that case, even more of a reason to applaud Hillary for doing what she did!

(7,878 posts)The cut-off to make the next debate is soon and this won't help her get enough qualifying polls in time. Given that the eligibility requirements will only increase after that, Gabbard is most likely done on the national debate stage -- good riddance!

(2,146 posts)True or not it's something that was unnecessary to say...my cat polls higher in the Democratic primaries than Gabbard..and now there are some undecideds that may be looking because they don't like SoS Clinton...we know that's a thing...ask the BoB's
In my opinion..it was an unforced error.
Did nobody any good except Clinton haters that may well go 3'rd for Gabbard.

(4,429 posts)She wants to paint Dem establishment as war mongers and uses the same RWTP of anti-imperialism, anti-war that mimics DT. It focuses on nationalism while ignoring the real perps of our nation. She needs to be grilled about her hypocrisy and lies.
It sounds like Putin is recycling.
