Now, everything Tulsi does to undermine the field will be viewed with rightful suspicion - and will

Last edited Mon Oct 21, 2019, 04:00 AM - Edit history (1)

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard says impeachment of Trump would be 'terribly divisive' for country

https://www.democraticunderground.com/1287292152#top

Gabbard "..some have been "looking for a reason to impeach Trump because they did not want to accept the outcome of the 2016 election"

Think about that..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

If the Russians are actively trying to disrupt the Democratic Party by pushing a candidate, I sure want to know. I do understand that a candidate can't always choose their supporters-- I mean, David Duke will endorse you whether you want it or not-- but if it happens, first, frankly, a truly loyal candidate would withdraw rather than allow the Russians in to the campaign. (Or at least loudly denounce it.)

We just need to be aware of how drastically the Russians want to interfere. It's so weird that for all those years of the USSR, there was this constant fear of "communist infiltration." There were powerful indications, for example, that the CIA was riddled with infiltrators. And it wasn't until Russia wasn't communist that they actually managed to infiltrate the White House.

What, Exactly, Is Tulsi Gabbard Up To?

As she injects chaos into the 2020 Democratic primary by accusing her own party of “rigging” the election, an array of alt-right internet stars, white nationalists and Russians have praised her.

The Rag Lobster guy is potentially the most toxic Dem with a large following on Twitter as a whole. Worse than a good portion of MAGA twitter I've had the displeasure of reading.

Might not be textbook sexual abuse, but it is abusing women sexually:
Content warning: sexually threatening language

Dehumanizing WOC, sexually abusive messages, misogynistic vitriol:
same content warning as above

even more misogyny:

not sure if this is supposed to be a joke, but it's disgusting:
CW: ableism, abuse to children

CW: dehumanizing women & POC AGAIN

He gives Democrats a bad name, and Republicans can excuse their own toxicity if they can point to speech like this. Kinda hoping he gets banned before the general election considering we need to be able to crucify Trump for his hateful rhetoric.

22. Gabbard: impeachment has been "used as a partisan talking point"
Sun Oct 20, 2019, 06:23 PM
Oct 2019

No. Not really.

Either Trump committed high crimes and misdemeanors or he didn't.

The Constitution doesn't say that is a partisan question.

If Trump obstructed justice as Mueller found, Trump should be impeached.

If Trump withheld aid from Ukraine until they manufactured dirt on his most likely 2020 opponent, Trump should be impeached.

If Trump's hotels took money for empty rooms from foreigners, Trump should be impeached.

Etc.

It is not a partisan question. Either Trump is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors or he isn't.

The Republican's would love to hide their corrupt President behind the skirts of partisanship but that is not what the Constitution directs.

Tulsi is just another little pimple on the arse of progress.

Yes, I am glad that her supporters have been outed. We need to beware of anything that would interfere with a strong campaign for our chosen Democratic Party candidate.

But we should keep in mind that her anti war, anti imperialist message resonates with a growing number of Americans. We simply cannot afford guns at the cost of butter any longer! Now they just sound like right wing talking points. Who actually gets us into wars?? Guess what we can't afford? Tax cuts for the wealthy-an alarmingly inflated deficit. How about responsible leadership and a sane budget, instead of slogans that are devised to carve a niche without facts. Govt that functions for the people. That has POWER. It's just longer and takes reading comprehension. FFS- guns at the cost of butter?? Are we in 1943? How about guns at the cost of health care, roads, etc.. Hillary never said squat about Tulsi, although some in the media are framing it as though she did. All Hillary did was use a feminine pronoun. Kamala Harris didn't get upset. I have been distrustful of Tulsi Gabbard ever since I first heard her speak., she is the only candidate I have not felt good about, some I like their message more than others but I have not liked Gabbard's message at all. I have felt she has ulterior motives. She has said enough that I don't trust her at all. Naturally she makes comments against Hillary, that is their style. DJT tears down decent people all the time.

In one fell swoop, Hillary Clinton managed to make a Tulsi 3rd party run for president synonymous with being a willful spoiler.

That was preemptively genius yet the usual suspects are too busy reflexively crying over HRC to get that.

This action is just terrific. Neutralize her before she can start causing damage.

She was already running as if in the general election, running against Democrats. She might appeal to disgruntled Trump voters in swing states, especially military, who might be considering voting for the Democrat but don't really want to. Her physical attractiveness is a plus, and she obviously lives in CT World, repeating misinformation about Harris in the debates, calling Hillary a corrupt warmonger.

It makes sense. But now? Thank you, Hillary.

We now understand who she is representing and what her purpose is. Her mission is to divide and conquer. From here on, she is dead to me as though she never existed, and I will speak of her no more.

I hope my fellow Americans of good will also will fail to acknowledge her or discuss her as well.

Her intentions for our country are not honerable, and she is not worthy of our time or regard.

that AOC set up and was attacking Pelosi at that climate protest near her office, when all AOC did was show up for a brief spell and said that they were there to have Pelosi's back. I have taken anything they say with a grain of salt since then.

I am NOT btw, defending Gabbard. She is very problematic and I so hope she is defeated in the primary for her Congressional seat.

And Hoarse can go fuck himself as can the original tweeter Greg Olear of that Buttigieg smear attempt. It is like the goddamn McCarthy era fear mongering. What a piece of of shit.

Greg Olear is really a fucking asshole, he pushes the anti-Biden slander line, calling him 'Handsy Magee', slamming him hard for ages.

Mon Oct 21, 2019, 05:47 AM
Oct 2019

The law was signed by President Barack Obama on December 14, 2012. In 2016, Congress enacted the Global Magnitsky Act, which allows the US government to sanction foreign government officials implicated in human rights abuses anywhere in the world.

The Origin..

The origin

The law is named after Sergei Magnitsky, a Russian lawyer and auditor who in 2008 untangled a dense web of tax fraud and graft involving 23 companies and a total of $230 million linked to the Kremlin and individuals close to the government. Magnitsky was the target of investigations, arrested by authorities and kept in jail without charges. He was beaten and later died under mysterious circumstances in jail just days before his possible release.
