**New** SurveyUSA (A rated) Poll Matchup vs Trump - Biden +11, Sanders +8, Warren +4, , Harris +3

http://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollReport.aspx?g=be45282e-0f2b-4aea-9431-c8dd46a3082f

In new research conducted of 3,080 registered voters nationwide, SurveyUSA finds that Vice President Mike Pence, today, 10/22/19, 15 weeks to the Iowa Caucuses, performs on average no worse than Trump in head-to-head match-ups against the leading Democrats. In 2 scenarios, Pence outperforms Trump.

Today, based on the facts that are known publicly, and subject to change as new evidence, damning and exculpatory, surfaces into the possible impeachment of President Trump:

* Elizabeth Warren today defeats Trump by 4 points; Warren defeats Pence by the same 4 points.
* Joe Biden today defeats Trump by 11 points; Biden defeats Pence by a statistically insignificant 12 points.
* Bernie Sanders today defeats Trump by 8 points; Sanders defeats Pence by 11 points, the one case in which Pence runs measurably weaker than Trump.
* Kamala Harris today defeats Trump by 3 points; Harris defeats Pence by 1 point; Pence runs 2 points stronger than Trump.
* Pete Buttigieg today defeats Trump by 1 point; Pence defeats Buttigieg by 3 points; Pence runs 4 points stronger than Trump.

About: SurveyUSA interviewed 3,900 adults nationwide 10/15/19 through 10/16/19, immediately after the Democratic Candidate debate in Ohio 10/15/19. Of the adults, 3,080 are registered to vote and were asked the substantive questions in this survey. The field period for this research was deliberately compressed to ensure that respondents were reacting to the same set of publicly known facts about the possible impeachment of the President, with new developments occurring almost hourly. This poll does not have predictive value: much evidence, both damning and exculpatory, relating to the Congressional branch's oversight of the Executive branch, will be released between today and whenever a trial in the US Senate convenes. Each new piece of evidence will alter the calculation that McConnell must make. Only at the last possible minute, when as much is known as can be known about how damaged a Donald Trump brand is, will McConnell decide where to cast his lot.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
